My husband and I were fortunate to be offered corporate moves to the beautiful southwest in 1991. We were awestruck by the beauty of the desert and mountains, the Native American culture and their talents in crafting jewelry. After just several months at our new  jobs, we retired early and began a life on the road buying from the Native American craftsmen and selling at Pow Wows from coast to coast. During that time I was blessed to be taught jewelry making basics by some of the Natives I met along the way. Over the years I have enjoyed making the Native style gemstone and fetish animal jewelry that you see on this website.  I use only quality glass beads and gemstones. I also do custom piece work so if you see something that you like but want it in certain colors or design, just email and I will work with you to create it. 

The name Sedonaflame was chosen for this website after my husband's death in an auto accident in 1996. I reflected on the last moments we had spent together the day before the accident at the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, Arizona, lighting candles at the altar, thus when I decided to build a website in 2000, Sedonaflame  seemed just the perfect domain name.

In answer of many of your emails, I no longer live in Sedona, Arizona, but have relocated to Memphis, TN where I am originally from. However, I do appreciate all the requests to stop in and see me while you are in the Sedona area.
