my "Family" adopted from Guardian Angel Pet Rescue

AMBER (my "Bubbies") arrived in her new home JULY 2006. She sadly passed in Oct 2008

BELOW: Bridget arrived Nov 22 2008 * I adopted her (and apparently fed her too much!)  In March 2017 she was hospitalized for 7 days near death with ketoacidosis, and was started on insulin for diabetes. She went Blind July 4, 2017 but handled it well. Sadly she started having seizures July 4 2020 and I rushed her to the emergency hospital. Her prognosis was not good and the Dr and I determined it was best to put her to rest. I brought her home and buried her in the back with Amber (Bubbies) and Lorelei (who passed in Nov 2019). Now the 3 of them are pain free and playing in dog heaven.

BELOW: Ziggy arrived with Rowdy in May 2008 as fosters. They were both adopted out to new homes in August. Ziggy was returned to me in Dec 2008 (in bad shape with mange/scabies) and I treated him daily as needed and finally adopted him in 2009 so he could always have loving care!! He lived a good long life and passed at the age of 18 years old

Below: Lorelei arrived as a foster May 2009 after giving birth to 7 pups! After several months recuperating after being spayed and getting proper care, I adopted her. Sadly she passed Nov 2019 and was buried in the back yard next to Bubbies. We Miss her. She was so very smart and such a Sweet Lady. Wow she was FAST and highly active, bringing her "catches" (yard moles) inside for praise. Seeing her deteriorate was hard on us all.

Lorelei_Dec2009b.JPG (69660 bytes)  Lorelei was a sweet and loving precious girl. Always HAPPY and always active in the back yard chasing squirrels. Excitement was her middle name!  She was very smart and loyal. It was difficult to see her suffering with her kidney illness and we (myself, Bridget & Ziggy) were all by her side when she was put to rest Nov 2019 here in our home by the mobile unit vet. She was buried in the back yard next to Bubbies.

After Bridget passed away, Ziggy was deeply depressed and would not eat and would barely move. He spent most of his time hiding behind the Tv where he had never been before.  He was just so sad and lonely for weeks. So I had to find him a new lady companion. Guardian Angel Rescue brought Sadie over to meet Ziggy. At first she was timid and scared (as new places and new people are scary) Buy after a few days she decided this is a nice place to live and happy that she has a big yard, a doggy door for in and out all day long, and home cooled meals. She is now happy and very affectionate. Ziggy liked her enough to come out of his hiding place, and he has tried to be friendly, however Sadie has let him know that she is in now in charge! She is persnickety and even though he is the 12 year old MASTER in HIS Territory, she has let him know that she has boundaries and now he looks to her for permission to get close!

 and..........The Others!

I also fostered Sissy - Landon - Oreo (Bandit) - Higgins

and several others before I adopted my family of three!!

<< This is Higgins - ahhhhhhhhhh - don't be fooled by his cute face - he is a  hyper, leaping, jumping pouncing puppy ...faster than lightning
